Under the Great Speech, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia outline several policies and initiatives designed and tailored to tackle all the sectors in the country. These Bold Solutions will seek to address the issues and problems in the country serving as lasting Panacea Ghanaians have been waiting for. Under the Sports sector, Dr. Bawumia outlined these three unique initiatives to tackle the issues affecting the sector.
1. Prioritize incentives for corporate sponsorship in sports
This policy seeks to provide financial support to sport organizations, helping them sustain and grow their operations. These incentives will create a mutually beneficial relationship between sports organizations and corporate sponsors.
2.Establish Ghana School Sports Secretariat
This policy will help in promoting sports and physical activities among students, contributing to their overall health. This policy will aid in nurturing talented athletes, providing them with the necessary support and resources to excel in their chosen sports. It will also help in discovering and developing sporting champions in Ghana.
3.Collaboration with sports bodies for training opportunities
This policy will seek to collaborate with international sports body and organization to give the needed training opportunities to our industry players and to help them to improve their skills and develop their talents. These collaborations will create more opportunity for the youth in sports.
