According to Palgrave Boakye Danquah, the Government spokesperson on Governance and Security, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised to secure victory in this year’s election due to its commendable performance in office.
He further asserts that the NPP, led by flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will intensify their campaign efforts, surpassing the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) by fivefold, to ensure their continued stay in opposition.
In response to allegations made by the Buem lawmaker regarding the Electoral Commission’s alleged bias towards the NPP and its flagbearer.
We are going to campaign five times harder than the NDC and keep them in opposition because that is where they deserve to be.
Let’s win the elections based on policies and stop the issuance of threats.
Palgrave highlighted the importance of adequate preparation by the EC to mitigate the challenges faced during the ongoing Limited Voter registration.
They should have prepared very well to ensure that we had very minimal challenges. I would expect that the EC is up and doing.
