According to Richard Ahiaghah, the Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Former President John Dramani Mahama should not be re-elected as he failed the country during his time in office.
Ahiaghah emphasized that Ghanaians have already overcome the negative consequences of Mahama’s presidency, including the detrimental effects of the power crisis known as ‘dumsor’ which harmed businesses, job prospects, and resulted in avoidable deaths.
Additionally, Ahiaghah mentioned the cancellation of allowances for teacher and nursing trainees as further evidence of Mahama’s shortcomings.
In a post on his X platform, Ahiaghah expressed his belief that there is no chance for Mahama’s redemption.
Bawumia is the epitome of pulling oneself up by the bootstrap because he has worked hard from a humble beginning at Sakasaka, in Tamale, to the presidency of the Republic of Ghana.
This is the story of the majority of Ghanaians, working hard against all odds to make it. With Bawumia’s experience from the bottom up, his presidency will be more sensitive and advance the interests of the masses.
As for the alternative, H.E. John Mahama, there is no redemption for him. He failed the masses when he had the opportunity to rule Ghana, and we have moved on from the painful experiences of his presidency such as the historic dumsor that vaquished businesses, employments opportunities, avoidable deaths and the cancelation of teacher & nursing trainee allowances, among others.
Bawumia is best to lead. A vote for Bawumia is a breakthrough for the masses who are mostly youth and women.
