DR. BAWUMIA AND NAPO ARE THE BEST CHOICE FOR GHANA’S FUTURE PROGRESS – NAA TORSHIE ADDO

The District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) administrator, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, emphasized that the Bawumia and Opoku Prempeh duo is a top-notch option that can ensure the upcoming stage of Ghana’s progress.

During an appearance on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Friday (5 July), she expressed that she aims to remain impartial, yet firmly believes that the NPP holds the key to the future of Ghana in terms of advancement and propelling it forward.

I don’t want to sound biased but I think the future of this country lies with the NPP when it comes to development and taking this country forward.

I don’t think there is an alternative and Mahamudu Bawumia is a gem, we need to look at not just the party, but the personality that is leading.

And if you want to compare, we have John Mahama and Mahamudu Bawumia and with the two, I can assure you, not because I am a member of the NPP, but the person who can take us to the next phase of development is Bawumia.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Executive Council (NEC) has given unanimous approval for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as “Napo”, to be the running mate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

During a press conference in Accra on Thursday (4 July), NPP’s general secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, made the announcement.

I am happy to report that after the necessary consideration, the National Council of the party unanimously endorsed the presidential candidate’s nomination of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Member of Parliament for Manhyia South and Energy Minister, as his vice-presidential candidate pursuant to Article 13(3) of the party constitution.
