The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, highlighted numerous developmental projects he has implemented in the northern region, particularly in Chereponi.
Bawumia questioned the achievements of John Mahama during his presidency, specifically regarding projects initiated in northern Ghana.
He pointed out that, despite serving as president, John Mahama could not point to any substantial projects initiated in Chereponi.
In contrast, Bawumia emphasized his accomplishments as vice president, citing significant impacts made through various development initiatives.
Addressing a gathering of Chereponi chiefs and elders, Dr. Bawumia remarked that John Mahama lacks new initiatives to offer.
