Nana Akomea, the Deputy National Chairman of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, has stated that a Bawumia-led government will focus on empowering local enterprises to significantly manufacture solar panels within Ghana.
During an appearance on Peace FM’s morning program “Kokrokoo,” Nana Akomea disclosed that there are plans to install approximately 5 million solar panels throughout the country.
He emphasized that this initiative is progressing as intended. Furthermore, he highlighted that the primary aim of this project is to enhance electricity supply, thereby alleviating the burden on the citizens of Ghana.
Solar is even cheaper than water…We are going to produce 5 million panels.
Nana Akomea took the opportunity to encourage Ghanaians to support the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing that he is introducing innovative and forward-thinking concepts aimed at advancing the development of Ghana.
