GHANAIANS WILL SURELY SWEAR IN DR. BAWUMIA AS THE FIRST MUSLIM PRESIDENT – SAMIRA BAWUMIA

Samira Bawumia, the wife of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence that her husband will be sworn in as the first ever ‘Muslim’ president of Ghana in January, 2025.

According to the Second Lady, the hard work and commitment  of Dr. Bawumia – flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), would serve as a great milestone in Ghana’s political history.

Samira Bawumia added that “Alhaji Dr. Bawumia is ready to serve the nation in integrity and humility with all that he has.”

She made this known when she addressed the people of Wenchi at a mammoth rally as part of her campaign visit to the Bono Region to win votes for Dr. Bawumia, as the 2024 election gathered momentum.

Samira added that  the choice of Dr. Bawumia by the NPP as a presidential candidate killed the perception that the party was an Akan-based political party, stressing, that she is confident that her husband could turn the fortunes of the nation around if given the nod in the forthcoming elections.

She said the NPP is very passionate about the holistic development of Muslim communities and urged the electorate, especially, those in the Zongo communities to vote for the NPP.

The Second Lady was accompanied by Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister, and Kwame Baffo, the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP.
