BAWUMIA’S OFFICE DENIES INVOLVEMENT IN ALLEGED ILLEGAL DEMOLITION IN CANTONMENTS, LABONE.

The Office of the Vice President has responded to media reports regarding alleged illegal activities, including unauthorized entry and demolition of properties in the Cantonments and Labone areas.

In a press release issued on Friday, September 6, signed by the Vice President’s spokesperson, Gideon Boako, the office addressed claims suggesting that individuals involved in these actions were supposedly acting under the authority of the Vice President.

The statement aimed to clarify the situation following media reports.

We want to make it clear that neither the Vice President nor his office has any interest in any property in the Cantonments and Labone areas where these alleged acts have taken place.

The statement further emphasized that no officer or representative has been authorized by the Vice President or his office to engage in any activities related to lands or properties in these areas.

We urge the public to disregard any information that contradicts the above position,

the statement concluded.
