A VOTE FOR THE NDC IS A WASTED VOTE – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has issued a stern warning to the voters in the Ashanti Region regarding the potential risks associated with supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections.

He emphasized that the NDC lacks a genuine commitment to the advancement of the Ashanti Region, suggesting that any voter from the area who inadvertently casts their ballot for the NDC should view their vote as ineffective. Dr. Prempeh elaborated on this point.

we vote in elections for development, so if you vote for a political party that doesn’t have your progress at heart, then you have wasted the vote.

The individual known as ‘Napo’, who serves as the Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserted that the NPP is the sole political party genuinely committed to the advancement of the Ashanti region, urging the populace to cast their votes in favor of the party.

The NDC is not committed to the proper development of the Ashanti region.

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the NPP made a public declaration at Tweapeasi in the Odotobiri Constituency on Tuesday.

He emphasized that the NDC consistently secures significant electoral support in the Ashanti Region; however, the NDC tends to marginalize the residents of this region whenever they attain political authority.

Napo expressed his astonishment regarding the NDC’s peculiar behavior towards the people of the Ashanti Region.

The number of votes that the NDC obtains from the Ashanti Region during elections is very huge, yet the NDC still considers Ashanti as a region that doesn’t support them.

The progress of the country, notably the Ashanti Region, always comes to a standstill whenever the NDC occupies the seat of government and I think it’s deliberate.

He asserted that he could provide numerous instances illustrating how the NDC intentionally implemented detrimental policies aimed at penalizing the residents of the Ashanti Region during their time in office.

As a significant example, Napo mentioned that the administration of former President John Kufuor, representing the NPP, established the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to enhance the healthcare services available to the populace.

But immediately the NDC assumed the mantle of leadership, they fiendishly introduced capitation for NHIS only in the Ashanti Region just to create hardship for the innocent people.

The speaker remarked on the detrimental impact that the NDC has had on the residents of the Ashanti Region, stating that the overall advancement of the region consistently stagnates during the NDC’s tenure in political office.

This is deliberate because you can see that the NDC and their leaders have something against the people of Ashanti Region. We should, therefore, reject the NDC on December 7.

The individual remarked on several of the NDC’s unfavorable actions towards the Ashanti Region, noting that former President Mahama publicly criticized the residents of this region without any apparent reason.

He stated that after exhibiting bias against the Ashanti Region, John Mahama subsequently expressed his views.

As for the people in the Ashanti Region even if you construct their roads with gold, they will never appreciate.

Napo contended that all evidence indicates that the NDC and their leader, John Mahama, do not include the Ashanti Region in their strategic plans.

So please don’t vote for the NDC and waste your precious votes.
