NAPO SERVES WITH RESPECT – OKYEHENE

The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, expressed his admiration for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s humility and his regard for individuals, particularly the elderly within the community.

He noted that while some individuals may become arrogant following their election to prominent public positions, he can confidently assert that Dr. Prempeh, commonly referred to as ‘Napo,’ does not fall into this category.

The esteemed traditional leader remarked that he has known Napo for a considerable period and has observed that his ascent in public service has not altered his inherently humble and respectful demeanor.

The Okyenhene specifically commended Napo, who serves as the Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for his promptness in responding to phone calls.

Napo is not the ministers whose phones are always busy. He always answers my calls.

I say this on record, I have not called Napo that he didn’t answer the phone. He always answers my calls with the utmost respect.

Even if he is outside the country and because of different time factors he didn’t see the call, he will call back with humility and say Nana please I just woke up to see your missed call.

The Okyenhene commended Napo for his commendable attitude and encouraged him to maintain his way of life, emphasizing that individuals elected to public office should aspire to follow Napo’s example.

People who are elected into public and high office should know that they have been appointed to serve. You serve your people, and your people will reciprocate by also serving you.

May God bless Napo. Okyeman will pray for you (Napo) as you tour the country to campaign.

The Okyenhene remarked that Napo not only demonstrates respect for individuals but is also a dedicated workaholic and a results-driven leader. He highlighted Napo’s transformative impact on the education sector during his tenure as Minister of Education.

He noted that, despite numerous challenges, Napo successfully implemented the free Senior High School (SHS) social intervention policy, which has significantly boosted school enrollment.

The Okyenhene emphasized that Napo’s remarkable contributions to the education ministry, particularly the introduction of the free SHS policy, are now yielding positive outcomes, as an increasing number of individuals are receiving education.

He asserted that in today’s digital age, the path to national development and prosperity lies in quality education, underscoring that Napo truly merits recognition for his efforts.
