The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has stated that Moody’s recent upgrade of Ghana’s economy serves as a validation of the ongoing economic recovery.
He urged the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, to recognize the improvements in the economy and to commend the government’s efforts.
Mr. Ahiagbah pointed out that the upgrade is a clear indication that the measures implemented by the government are beginning to yield results, and it is crucial for all political leaders, including Mr. Mahama, to acknowledge these strides.
He argued that constructive criticism and recognition of progress are essential for fostering a collaborative environment that can further enhance the nation’s economic landscape. In a message shared on his X platform, Mr. Ahiagbah expressed.
Moody’s upgraded Ghana’s credit ratings to Caa2 with a positive outlook for future fiscal stability. This good news confirms the turnaround of the economy, verifiable in the above expectation performance, an average of 5.8% growth in the first & second quarters of 2024
The NDC and H.E Mahama must take note of this positive news for the economy and acknowledge…Praise when it is due! It’s possible!
