NPP PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE FOR BEKWAI, RALPH POKU-ADUSEI, KNEELS TO BEG CONSTITUENTS FOR A MASSIVE VOTE FOR BAWUMIA.

In an unprecedented gesture, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for Bekwai, knelt before traditional leaders (nananom) and constituents to urge them to vote in large numbers for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, as well as for himself in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7, 2024.

Lawyer Poku-Adusei urged constituents to vote in large numbers for Dr. Bawumia, just as they had for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and former President John Agyekum Kufuor in past elections.

He emphasized the NPP’s development projects in the constituency, highlighting ongoing initiatives and stressing that only the NPP, under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, could complete these projects and launch new ones that would drive widespread development.

Ralph Poku-Adusei made this plea on Monday, November 11, 2024, during a visit by Vice President and NPP presidential candidate Dr. Bawumia to Bekwai as part of his ongoing constituency-based campaign, which has already taken him to over 250 out of Ghana’s 276 constituencies.

The gesture has sparked optimism that Bekwai will continue its tradition, dating back to 1992 and the beginning of the Fourth Republic, of delivering landslide victories for the NPP. Poku-Adusei’s affectionate nickname, “Young Wise Counsel,” is expected to resonate in the votes on December 7.

The atmosphere during the campaign event was electrifying, with party supporters breaking their usual Monday morning routine of coming out late after weekend socializing, in order to show strong support for their parliamentary candidate, Ralph Poku-Adusei, the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Bawumia, and the party as a whole.
