The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, along with his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is preparing to launch a comprehensive campaign outreach across all regions of the nation.
This tour represents the concluding phase of the party’s campaign for the 2024 elections, during which both candidates will share the stage to engage with constituencies nationwide.
A key element of the party’s strategy has involved collaborating with chiefs and community leaders in every constituency, which is in line with Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to empower traditional and religious leaders within his administration.
The campaign rallies will also serve as a platform for Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh to formally present the party’s parliamentary candidates to their respective constituencies.
Since July, Dr. Bawumia has visited 273 constituencies, with only two remaining in the Ashanti Region. Meanwhile, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, since his announcement as the party’s running mate, has engaged with over 170 constituencies across all 16 regions.
The NPP is determined to retain power and disrupt the traditional eight-year electoral cycle, with many political analysts praising the party’s campaign strategy as effective.
