The Asokwa Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a cohesive and determined force, committed to campaigning and securing more votes for the party and Dr. Bawumia to maintain political power on December 7th.
This was evident during a large-scale health walk organized by the party, under the leadership of its Member of Parliament (MP) and NPP parliamentary candidate, Patricia Appiagyei. The event, titled ‘Let’s walk the breaking the eight health walk’, was attended by esteemed individuals and loyal party members.
Notably, Edmund Kyei, who was Patricia Appiagyei’s main competitor in the Asokwa NPP parliamentary primaries and a former first Vice Chairman of the party in the area, also participated in the health walk. His presence serves as proof that the Asokwa NPP has moved past any previous conflicts and is now united and prepared for the upcoming battle.
Exhibiting political maturity, Edmund Kyei proudly walked alongside Patricia Appiagyei, affectionately known as ‘Mama Pat’, throughout the entire duration of the walk. During his address to NPP members, Edmund Kyei emphasized the importance of voting for the party’s flagbearer and the future president of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia.
Also, we are voting massively for our hard-working MP and our parliamentary candidate, Mama Pat.
Mr. Kyei emphasized that the NPP, under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo, has successfully brought about significant changes in the country. He specifically highlighted Dr. Bawumia as the ideal candidate to continue building upon these achievements.
For Dr. Bawumia to effectively implement his development plans, Mr. Kyei stressed the importance of the NPP securing a majority of seats in parliament. He further urged everyone to support Mama Pat as their leader by casting their votes accordingly.
Despite the NPP being the frontrunner in the upcoming elections, Mr. Kyei acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead and called upon all NPP members to diligently work towards retaining their party’s position of power.
So let’s vote for Mama Pat to lead us. Let’s do away with complacency, yes we have done well in government, but we need to campaign vigorously and retain power so we can do more for the country.
