The Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region has experienced an impressive surge of energy and enthusiasm as Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, visited the area to conduct a door-to-door campaign in support of His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate.
Throughout his visit, Chairman Wontumi, who is typically surrounded by large crowds, interacted with diverse groups within the community, including traditional leaders (Nananom), religious figures, youth organizations, and local traders.
He toured the vibrant market areas of Barekese, Asuofia-Asamang, and Koforidua, carrying out door-to-door outreach and engaging directly with residents both on the streets and in their homes.
Additionally, Chairman Wontumi assessed several projects within the constituency, such as the Agenda 111 initiative at Barekese and the John Agyekum Kufuor Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Centre at Dabaa.
His tour has invigorated the party’s grassroots efforts in preparation for the December 2024 elections, reflecting his steadfast dedication and commitment to achieving the party’s goal of securing 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region.
