Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has revealed that the flagbearer of the party, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will utilize the nation’s gold resource, to strengthen the Cedi if elected as president in the upcoming general elections.
Mr. Ahiagbah stated that, under Bawumia’s administration, there will be a massive transformation that will lead to stability in the Cedi and ensure development in the country.

In a post on his X account, he emphasized that under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, the depreciation of the Cedi would be a thing of the past.
