DR.BAWUMIA REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL UNITY AND INCLUSIVITY AHEAD OF ELECTIONS

The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has pledged to serve as a unifying leader for all citizens, irrespective of their political, religious, or ethnic backgrounds.

Speaking during a special thanksgiving and prayer session with the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and other prominent Muslim leaders on Tuesday, December 3, in Accra, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of protecting Ghana’s diversity and fostering unity.

The session, which brought together Imams, Zongo Chiefs, and other community leaders, was held to offer prayers for national peace, a successful election, and divine guidance for Dr. Bawumia ahead of the December 7 polls.

Addressing the gathering, he highlighted his commitment to ensuring a harmonious and inclusive Ghana should he be elected president.

My vision is to serve as a president for all, regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations. Ghana’s diversity is its strength, and I am committed to protecting and strengthening it,

Dr. Bawumia assured the audience.

Dr. Bawumia also took the opportunity to reflect on his political journey, share the achievements of the NPP government, and discuss initiatives such as the Zongo Development Fund, which he described as a game-changer for marginalized communities.

He outlined his vision for transformative policies aimed at addressing the needs of all Ghanaians.

In a Facebook post following the event, Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude for the prayers and support.
