Dan Kweku Botwe, the campaign manager for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s team, has strongly responded to the recent prophecies supporting the comeback bid of former President John Dramani Mahama in Ghana’s 2024 presidential race.
Several prominent prophets, including Apostle Isaac Owusu Bempah, Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, and Bernard Elbernard, have predicted a victory for Mahama, which has stirred reactions.
Botwe, in his response, emphasized the omnipotence of God, stating that no one can limit God’s plans or will. He referenced biblical stories to underscore this point, mentioning the instance where a donkey spoke to its rider and God’s declaration that even stones can be made to praise Him.
His message was clear: God has the power to use anyone or anything to accomplish His divine will, and thus, human limitations or prophecies cannot dictate the outcome of events.

Dan Botwe’s reply came in response to a question posed by Kwami Sefa Kayi, the presenter of Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” programme. In the interview, Sefa Kayi raised concerns about some religious leaders and political parties playing the religious card against a specific candidate, with some factions vowing not to let a particular religious group govern over Christians in Ghana.
