President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reiterated the accomplishments of his administration in the realm of infrastructure development, highlighting that his government has built a greater number of roads and interchanges than any previous administration in Ghana’s history.
During the inauguration of the Flower Pot Interchange in Accra on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the President reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to enhancing the nation’s infrastructure framework.
This project is one of many across the country. From the Northern Savanna to the southern coastline and from east to west, we are building a new Ghana—one where roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals stand as testaments to a nation that works for all.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized numerous significant achievements in the Greater Accra Region, such as the successful completion of the Pokuase Interchange, the first phase of the Tema Motorway Interchange, the initial phase of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange, the East Legon Underpass, and the recently completed Flower Pot Interchange. Additionally, he acknowledged advancements outside the capital, drawing attention to other notable projects.
We have delivered the first-ever interchanges in the Eastern Region at Suhum and in the Northern Region at Tamale. Each of these projects is a symbol of our unwavering dedication to building a Ghana that moves forward.
