MAHAMA IS UNFIT TO GOVERN GHANA IN FOUR YEARS – PATRICIA APPIAGYEI

The Deputy Majority Leader and MP for Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, Patricia Appiagyei has raised concerns regarding former President John Mahama’s capacity to effectively govern Ghana in four years.

Emphasizing the significance of experience and continuity in governance, the legislator compared the NDC flagbearer’s past performance with that of the vice president and NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. Expressing skepticism about Mahama’s capabilities in a four-year tenure, Appiagyei contended that Dr Bawumia’s candidacy would ensure the continuation of the advancements made by the NPP administration.

She communicated her views to the press during a two-hour walk along the main streets of Asokwa, engaging with the grassroots.

Mahama is tried and tested. Dr Bawumia is not tried and tested. If you give the mantle to Dr Bawumia, because of our numerous programmes and the things that we have, continuity will prevail.

And then we also know that we are going to march up. Despite the world financial crisis, NPP has made Ghana very proud. And you can attest to the fact that IMF has commended the NPP government for achieving what they thought could not be achievable.

And what is Mahama coming to do for only four years? We know what governance is like. For four years how can he manage and arrange the resources? the lawmaker further quizzed.

Reverend Benjamin Fosu Nkromah, the Chairman of Asokwa NPP Constituency, encouraged residents to support Dr. Bawumia for the presidency and to keep Madam Patricia Appiagyei as their Member of Parliament in the upcoming elections.

Voting for the two would mean continued development for the country as a whole and the Asokwa Constituency in particular.
