REMEMBER OUR SOCIAL INTERVENTION POLICIES AND RETAIN NPP – PAUL APRAKU TWUM

The Member of Parliament for the Dormaa East constituency, Paul Apraku Twum Barima, has called upon his constituents to acknowledge the social intervention initiatives established by the government and to maintain their support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The esteemed Paul Apraku Twum Barima articulated that the NPP is the sole political entity dedicated to the execution of social intervention policies aimed at benefiting every household across the nation, thereby alleviating economic hardships.

While addressing a gathering of party supporters at Asuotiano in the Dormaa East constituency during a mini rally, he underscored the significant progress made by the NPP in enhancing the lives of Ghanaians through various initiatives, including free Senior High School education, the One District One Factory program, Planting for Food and Jobs, and free maternal healthcare, all of which have positively impacted the entire nation.

He emphasized the necessity of retaining the NPP in the upcoming elections to ensure the continuation of these beneficial policies, highlighting that during the Covid-19 pandemic, President Nana Addo provided Ghanaians with free water and electricity, as well as hot meals for students, reflecting the NPP’s commitment to the nation’s advancement.

The MP stressed the importance of unity and dedication to the party’s vision for national development and progress. He urged supporters to disseminate information regarding the NPP’s accomplishments and to encourage more individuals to join the party.

He strongly criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the hardships experienced by Ghanaians during the notorious “Dumsor” period, which he identified as a significant aspect of their legacy that demonstrates their unpreparedness to govern. He asserted that it is essential to vote against John Mahama and the NDC to promote the development of Ghana.

In summary, the Member of Parliament called upon all stakeholders to collaborate to secure the success of the NPP in the forthcoming elections and to persist in the efforts to create a stronger and more prosperous Ghana.

Alhaji Dauda, the Chairman of the Dormaa East NPP Constituency, highlighted several accomplishments of the Member of Parliament during his initial term.

He noted that the MP has played a significant role in facilitating employment opportunities for numerous young individuals in the security sector, has supported many vocational training programs, and has contributed to infrastructure development. He argued that these achievements demonstrate the MP’s capability to lead the district once more for its necessary advancement.

Nana Adoma Agyei, the Chief of Asuotiano, commended the Member of Parliament for his contributions to the development of the Dormaa East Constituency. He encouraged the MP to remain resolute and steadfast as the general elections approach, assuring him that the community’s leaders are spiritually supporting him through their prayers.

Nevertheless, he urged the residents of Asuotiano and the broader Dormaa East area to avoid using inflammatory language that could jeopardize the peace of the nation before, during, and after the elections.
