THE AYENSUANO SEAT IS COMING BACK HOME – NAPO

The vice presidential candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has stated that the likelihood of the NPP securing victory in the December 7 election is contingent upon divine intervention.

Despite this, he remains assured that the electorate will choose to maintain the NPP in governance during the forthcoming elections, citing the party’s history of fulfilling its commitments.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh conveyed this sense of optimism while addressing chiefs and party supporters in Anum Apapam, located in the Ayensuano constituency of the Eastern Region, as part of his campaign tour within the constituency.

The Ayensuano seat is coming back home, as the people of Anum Apapam and other communities stand in their resolve to safeguard the gains made in Free SHS, electricity stability, the construction of more schools, Agenda 111, and many other initiatives.

The people are resolute, without a shred of doubt, that the leader Ghana needs in this defining moment is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

They are not only committed to campaigning for him, but they will also vote overwhelmingly in his favour and through hard work, Ida Adjoa Asiedu is heading to Parliament on the NPP’s ticket. I believe that the Ayensuano, apart from the party’s traditional strongholds, could play a key role in securing victory for the NPP.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh conveyed his assurance that Dr. Bawumia will swiftly initiate action should the party remain in power. He urged the citizens of Ghana to evaluate the performance histories of the two principal political parties prior to making their voting decisions in the upcoming December elections.

He noted that, given that both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have experienced governance, it is prudent to assess their respective records and accomplishments.

During the rally, NAPO remarked that the present administration has established a solid groundwork for the nation’s transformation over the past seven and a half years, a feat that the opposition NDC, led by John Dramani Mahama, has found challenging to replicate.

In contrasting the achievements of both political parties, the running mate highlighted that the NPP has previously implemented social intervention policies aimed at addressing the fundamental needs of Ghanaians. He specifically mentioned initiatives such as the Capitation Grant and the School Feeding Programme.

Kennedy Agyepong emphasized the importance of supporting the parliamentary candidate, Ida Adwoa Asiedu, highlighting the commendable contributions made by the former member of parliament for the region, Ayeh-Paye, to the community.

Additionally, he urged for solidarity in efforts to reclaim the parliamentary seat.
