VOTE PEACEFULLY – REBECCA AKUFO-ADDO TO GHANAIANS

First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has emphasized the necessity of peaceful elections as the country prepares for the forthcoming general polls.

During her campaign visits to the Trobu and Okaikwei North constituencies, she assured Ghanaians of the strong security measures established to facilitate a seamless electoral process.

The First Lady encouraged citizens to exercise their right to vote without apprehension, highlighting the significance of maintaining continuity in the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under its presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia.

Ghana deserves a lot. We need continuity, so do not be deceived,” she said. “This Saturday’s election is not about violence. Peacefully go and cast your vote.

Do not be afraid. Nothing will happen because we have the police and other security services who will ensure there is peace. Go and cast your vote peacefully so Ghana can move to better places.

Akufo-Addo emphasized the government’s commitment to development initiatives, presenting Bawumia as the most suitable candidate to guide Ghana towards advancement.

In Trobu, NPP parliamentary candidate Gloria Owusu characterized the forthcoming election as a pivotal moment.

The NPP under [former] president [John Agyekum] Kufuor introduced free maternal healthcare and free school feeding. Under President [Nana] Akufo-Addo, the free SHS was also introduced. I can therefore confidently say that no government has introduced social interventions like the NPP.

She encouraged voters to select the NPP on December 7, highlighting that both the presidential and parliamentary candidates are listed as number one on the ballot.

In a similar vein, Nana Ama Dokuah Asiamah-Adjei, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Okaikwei North, supported the First Lady’s message.

She urged supporters to disseminate the party’s message at the grassroots level, emphasizing the commitments outlined in Mahamudu Bawumia’s manifesto.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo’s message underscores the NPP’s commitment to upholding peace during the electoral process while motivating Ghanaians to engage actively in shaping the future of the nation.

As the elections in December draw near, the party’s leadership is mobilizing support by highlighting its accomplishments and vision for continuity.

The First Lady’s campaign visit represents a pivotal moment in the electoral season, reminding citizens of their shared responsibility in protecting democracy and fostering Ghana’s advancement.
