Dr. Kwame Asah-Asante, a Senior Political Science Lecturer at the University of Ghana, has refuted claims that Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is arrogant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Dr. Asah-Asante, the Manhyia South MP is courageous and bold, never hesitating to express his opinions. This assessment comes after a survey by the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) revealed that Dr. Prempeh is highly favored among NPP members to be the running mate of their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.<\/p>\n

Dr. Prempeh received an impressive 76.2% of the votes from the 5116 executives who participated in the survey. In second place was Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education and MP for Bosomtwe, with 10.16% of the votes.<\/p>\n

Other notable individuals being considered for the role include Apostle Opoku Onyinah, former Chairman of the Pentecost Church-Ghana, and Bryan Acheampong, the Minister of Agriculture and MP for Abetifi Constituency.<\/p>\n

However, during an interview on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Thursday, Dr. Asah-Asante confidently stated that he has no doubts about Napo’s suitability for the position, emphasizing that the survey accurately reflects the current situation on the ground.<\/p>\n

His boldness and free spirit make him distinct and stands tall among the other candidates. Politics is not meant for the faint-hearted and cowardly, we can\u2019t use them for anything.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
