AKUFO-ADDO AND DR. BAWUMIA HAVE SHOWN GREAT GENEROSITY TOWARDS ASANTEMAN – CHAIRMAN WONTUMI

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (commonly known as Wontumi), has characterized the road infrastructure developments in the region over the past seven years as “remarkably unprecedented.”

He emphasized that the rapid pace of developmental initiatives across the region should not be overlooked, urging that all necessary measures be taken to protect these advancements.

Specifically addressing the Asokwa Constituency, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako remarked that the government led by Akufo-Addo and Bawumia has effectively served the local populace.

Consequently, he urged residents to express their gratitude during the upcoming December elections. He cautioned that the ultimate detriment would fall upon the people of Asokwa and the region if they were to mistakenly vote out this effective administration.

In discussing the leadership within the Constituency, Chairman Wontumi highlighted that the Asokwa constituency now features world-class roads, with a significant portion of local roads having been asphalted in the last seven years.

He attributed this progress to the NPP government’s acknowledgment of the support it has received from the community throughout the party’s political history.

That’s why the party gives premium to its strongholds and will continue to stay true to its own.

He emphasized that the current campaign focuses on understanding each voter within the constituency, requiring all electoral area coordinators and assembly members to provide detailed reports on every voter in their respective polling areas.

Furthermore, Bernard Antwi Boasiako urged assembly members and electoral area coordinators to prepare themselves, as they will spearhead the DMB campaign aimed at achieving a 90 percent turnout of valid votes.

He remarked that securing victory in the 2024 elections hinges on diligent effort, unity, prayer, and divine favor.

A notable and invigorating moment during the meeting that generated enthusiasm for the Asokwa campaign was the rejoining of Eric Osei, who had previously run as an independent parliamentary candidate in 2020.

Chairman Wontumi led the campaign team in warmly welcoming him back into the party.
