DR. BAWUMIA UNVEILS STRATEGY FOR EXPANDING JOB CREATION AND BOOSTING PRIVATE SECTOR ROLE

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), outlined his vision for creating more jobs in Ghana during his constituency-focused tour in Accra on September 6, 2024.

In a recent address at the Bawumia Youth Connect event in Ayawaso West Wuogon, he emphasized that while the current government has created more jobs in the last eight years than any administration in Ghana’s history, there is still much more to be done to address unemployment and drive economic growth.

Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of leveraging these diverse areas to create employment opportunities for Ghanaians, particularly the youth.

Dr. Bawumia stressed that the government needs to be more strategic and efficient in its approach signaling a shift towards innovative governance that optimizes the use of resources and encourages more dynamic economic activities.

A key component of Dr. Bawumia’s strategy is reducing the role of government in certain areas and empowering the private sector to take the lead.  he added. This approach aims to create a more conducive environment for private enterprises to thrive, thereby generating more jobs and enhancing economic growth.
