MAHAMA IS APPREHENSIVE! THE NDC IS IN A STATE OF PANIC – NANA AKOMEA

Nana Akomea, the Chief Executive Officer of the InterCity State Transport Corporation (STC), has expressed strong criticism towards the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, regarding their treatment of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

On Saturday, August 24, the National Democratic Congress unveiled their manifesto at the University of Education in Winneba, detailing the initiatives their leader plans to implement to improve the living standards of Ghanaians if elected President in 2025.

In response to the manifesto launch, Dr. Bawumia conducted a question-and-answer session with the media on Sunday, August 25, to clarify his policies for the Ghanaian public.

However, John Mahama has criticized the Vice President for scheduling his media engagement just one day after the NDC’s manifesto was presented.

Just yesterday the Cedi crossed the 16 Cedi to one dollar barrier. When you do something with a devious intention it backfires on you, we announced we were going to launch our manifesto on the 24th of August, immediately our opponents announced that they were going to do a media encounter on the 25th of August, the very next day.

The intention for doing that media encounter the next day after we had announced our manifesto was to get the attention of Ghanaians from the NDC manifesto, that was the main reason that they decided to do a media encounter the very next day after we launched our manifesto.

“When you do something with devious intentions, it backfires on you. You know how to tell if people are lying, if there are people who are smooth talkers who can speak like machine guns, the time when they become stammerers you know they are lying. Somebody who has been speaking ‘ratatatata’ like AK 47 suddenly, at a media encounter, starts stammering.

He delivered these statements while speaking to his supporters during a two-day campaign tour in Ada, which was part of his Greater Accra Regional campaign on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

In response during the ‘Kokrokoo’ program on Peace FM, Nana Akomea expressed his astonishment at Mahama’s accusation that Bawumia was undermining his program, noting that the launch of Mahama’s manifesto and Bawumia’s media session occurred on separate days. According to him, Mahama’s remarks are revealing.

He is afraid.

You can tell they (NDC) have panicked. They are scared!
