MIREKU DUKER HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS THE CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR FOR DR. BAWUMIA IN THE MINING COMMUNITIES

George Mireku Duker, the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, has been designated as the Coordinator for the Bawumia campaign within mining communities.

This appointment was communicated through a letter signed by Fred Oware, the Vice Campaign Chairman of the campaign team for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer.

The letter highlighted that this decision is rooted in the MP’s dual role as the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, along with his considerable expertise and profound knowledge of the mining industry, as well as his dedication to advancing the campaign’s objectives.

In his new role, Mr. Duker will oversee and direct all campaign initiatives aimed at miners and mining communities nationwide. His responsibilities will include managing teams, coordinating events, and ensuring effective communication within these sectors.

Furthermore, he will devise and execute strategies to effectively convey the flagbearer’s policies regarding the mining sector to all pertinent stakeholders.

This includes miners, mining companies, traditional leaders, and the wider public. The objective is to secure widespread support for the flagbearer’s vision for the mining industry.

The Coordinator is anticipated to focus on obtaining a substantial quantity of popular votes and parliamentary seats in areas where mining activities are prominent.

Ensuring that the flagbearer’s message resonates well within these communities is key to our electoral success.

We trust that with your expertise and leadership, you will significantly contribute to our collective effort to win the support of mining constituencies nationwide. Once again, congratulations on your appointment. We look forward to working closely with you to achieve a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
