NAPO ENCOURAGES FARMERS TO IGNORE NDC PROPAGANDA.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has assured Ghanaian farmers that their livelihoods and future will be safeguarded only if the NPP remains in power.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh, widely known as Napo, emphasized that the NPP is the only administration truly committed to the welfare of farmers, particularly cocoa farmers.

He urged farmers to throw their full support behind the NPP in the upcoming December 7 elections, so the party can continue implementing policies aimed at improving their lives.

The NPP has raised the cocoa price from 475 cedis to 2,070 cedis and is set to increase it again this year, demonstrating the party’s unwavering commitment to cocoa farmers,

Dr. Prempeh noted. He praised the NPP government for always planning and acting in the best interest of cocoa farmers and their families.

On the other hand, Napo criticized the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that they have no better plans for cocoa farmers.

Speaking during a campaign stop in Asunafo South in the Ahafo Region, Napo warned that the progress made in agriculture under the NPP would be lost if the NDC were to return to power.

The NDC would abandon the ongoing cocoa rehabilitation projects in cocoa-growing areas if we make the mistake of voting them into office,

He also accused the NDC of spreading lies and propaganda to mislead farmers, reiterating that the party lacks any meaningful plans to support the cocoa sector.

The wellbeing of cocoa farmers is not a priority for the NDC,

Napo stated, urging farmers to vote for the NPP to secure their future.
