OUR PERFORMANCE IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR SURPASSES THAT OF THE NDC – NAPO

The Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the upcoming 2024 elections, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has criticized the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its management of the education sector during the tenure of Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.

He asserted that the education system did not undergo any meaningful changes and urged the Ghanaian voters to dismiss the NDC in the elections scheduled for December 7.

His remarks were made while addressing students at the Fosu Nursing College as part of his campaign activities in the Central Region.

The future of the country is education and the record of NDC in education is poor.

It is the NDC that canceled the teacher and nursing trainee allowances, with its disastrous effects on affected students.

I won’t give you chalk episode” saying it is evidence of the NDC’s insensitivity to the growth of education.

Over 40,000 schoolchildren could not get their results as a result of non-payment of school fees.

He emphasized to the audience that the education sector has undergone a significant and appropriate transformation under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, thereby underscoring the importance of maintaining the current ruling party.
