Dr. Bawumia: Flagbearer for the NPP
Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that he has successfully fulfilled most of his promises, which illuminates his capacity to lead the nation.
According to Dr. Bawumia, over 30 of the policies and initiatives he promised the people of Ghana have been implemented. He mentioned that even though he is not the president, his works are evident to his commitment and dedication to serving the country. He stated emphatically that he has successfully gratified most of his pledges.
”I have never been a president. I am just the vice president. I have really worked. My opponent has been a president before but I have really delivered on my promises”.
He disclosed that the implementation of the Ghana Card Project and the delivery of the Ghana Card to newborns are verifications to his enthusiasm to living up to his words.
”When I said we would roll out the Ghana Card, we delivered. When I said children would be issued with the Ghana Card at birth, it was fulfilled”.
Dr. Bawumia has over the past months revealed his unique Bold solutions which has been tailored to solving the issues and problems in Ghana. Among such solutions are the Ghana Smart School Project which was launched some few days ago, there is the Tax Amnesty Initiative which is aimed at giving a fresh start to all business and traders with regards to tax, and the Flat Rate Tax System, a simple system intended to tackle the issue of tax by making it easy and simple for traders and businesses giving them a relief in operating their business.
