Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has promised that his government will train 1 million youths in coding and software applications if elected in the upcoming elections
Addressing the crowd at the it is possible health walk in Kwahu on Saturday he announced that the future belongs to the youth and as such his government will mechanisms in place to train millions of the youth with regards to technology and digitalization.
“The future is technology, and the youth of this country are important to drive what we want to do in technological advancement. That is why I have said we will train 1 million young Ghanaians in coding and software applications under my Presidency”.
Dr. Bawumia pledged to implement bold steps if elected, as well as a new tax system. Revealed that a vote for him means job opportunities for the youth, development, economic growth and stability.
“A vote for me is a vote for bold solutions. And a vote for my opponent is a vote for old solutions. I am coming with new ideas and bold solutions to move our country forward. As I have I said I am coming with a new tax system which will bring a flat tax rate and also grant tax Amnesty to business and individuals”.
He also incited the NPP supporters to come together and work actively to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
