Deputy Minister of Education, and Senior Pastor of Victory Bible Church International (VBCI), Reverend Ntim Fordjour has revealed that God will prosper Ghana under the able leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Addressing the people at the cutting of sod for the 200 bed hostel for the Trinity Theological Seminary, Rev. Ntim Fordjour dispels religious stereotypes by indicating that God decided to bless Ghana through the good nature, goodwill and leadership of Dr. Bawumia, a Muslim Vice President.
Today is a dream come true, but it is significant to note that this dream will come through under the direction of and the benevolence and kindness and thoughtfulness of Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a Muslim Vice President. It took him, under the direction for God to use him to bring this promise to fulfilment and to bring this joy to hearts of the Christian community. God used a Muslim Vice President to bring this dream to pass.
He noted that the fact that God decided to use Dr. Bawumia in fulfilling his purpose of establish the 200 bed hostel project goes a long way to indicate that God is about inclusiveness and that he does not exclude anyone on the basis of class, race, culture, social background or position.
Far more beyond that, it is a demonstration of the fact that God is not a respect of persons and he can use anyone he so chooses to anoint to bring to pass as well as to bring prosperity to his people.
The multi-purpose hostel, which is being funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND), is in fulfillment of a pledge the Vice President made to the Seminary, following a request for assistance, during the school’s congregation two years ago, which he attended.
This step by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the government will aid in fostering religious tolerance in governance which is incredibly important.
