Vice President and Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that the Zongo Development Funds is yielding impactful results.
Dr. Bawumia expressed delight with the Zongo Development Fund project, which he disclosed is panning out as over 200 infrastructural projects across the country have been established.
For the Zongo Community, I’m happy to say that our decision to establish a special development vehicle, the Zongo Development Fund, has yielding impactful results with a number of infrastructure projects, over 200 of them, across the country.
He emphasized on the fact the initiative has done a lot with regards to providing scholarships and grants for deprived students and has assisted over 40 students who are presently pursuing medicine in Cuba.
The Zongo Development Fund has provided educational grants and scholarships to brilliant but needy students including 40 students from Zongos currently studying medicine in Cuba on full scholarships.
Dr. Bawumia also preached peace, tolerance and unity among Ghanaians, urging them to promote unity and togetherness as the elections draws near.
