The NPP activists in the Ahanta West Constituency of the Western Region have made a collective decision to collaborate effectively to secure a resounding victory for Dr. Bawumia and the parliamentary Candidate Francis Eric Pobee in the upcoming elections.
Kwesi Asobenyah Buah, a member of the Ahanta West Constituency Council of Patrons of the NPP, disclosed in an interview that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP possess the necessary qualities to secure the Ahanta West Constituency seat in the forthcoming general elections, as long as unity prevails within the party.
He mentioned that after Mr. Pobee was elected as the NPP candidate, he introduced various initiatives aimed at uniting the party’s members and fostering harmony within the Ahanta West NPP. He has the potential to secure victory for the party.
In the history of the Ahanta West NPP, I have not seen a winning candidate opening up to the other contenders to put their shoulders on the wheel to ensure victory in 2024.
Mr. Buah, who previously served as the Constituency Secretary of the party, emphasized the need for a vigorous campaign involving all stakeholders in the constituency to secure success in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
So if we come together, do what we need to do, and also work very hard, NPP will win both the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ahanta West.
He urged all members of the party, especially the executives at the constituency and polling station levels, to approach this year’s campaign with utmost seriousness and unwavering dedication. Mr. Buah emphasized that historically, the Ahanta West Constituency has been a stronghold for the NPP. He highlighted that under Pobee’s leadership and with unity across all levels, securing victory is inevitable.
He revealed that during the 2016 general elections, the current Member of Parliament, Kojo Kum, emerged victorious with a margin of approximately 17,000 votes. However, in the most recent general elections, that margin decreased to around 3,000 votes
If we will all come on board as true members of our party, to work hard for the party, I promise that we will increase the vote margin.
