Vice President and flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has provided reassurance to the citizens of Ghana that the recent power outages will soon become a thing of the past.
He emphasized that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration is diligently working to resolve the outages, commonly referred to as dumsor. Addressing the Clergy and Imams in Akropong on Monday, April 29, as part of his campaign tour of the Eastern Region, Dr. Bawumia conveyed his belief in the government’s commitment to addressing the problem.
I know there are challenges and I don’t want to paper over economic challenges. We are going to work on them. Currently, we have issues with power but I say that from the information I have received from the minister for energy, those power challenges will very soon, and I mean very soon be a thing of the past.
Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana, took the opportunity to highlight the numerous accomplishments of the Akufo-Addo government during his speech. He emphasized the government’s commitment to transforming the country and improving the lives of its citizens.
