Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has conveyed his unwavering belief in the triumph of Kwabena Boateng, the NPP candidate, in the Ejisu by-election.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, April 30, Ahiagbah urged the residents of Ejisu to wholeheartedly support Boateng by casting their votes in his favor. He stressed that a victory for the NPP in this by-election would serve as a tribute to the late Dr. John Kumah and symbolize the accomplishments of Vice President Bawumia and the NPP in the upcoming December 7th elections.
Good people of Ejisu will make a statement today by voting massively for Kwabena Boateng, #2 on the ballot. A victory for the NPP in this by-election will not only honor the memory of Dr John Kumah but also signal the triumph of Bawumia and the NPP on December 7th. Let’s join hands and work towards a landslide victory for the NPP… It’s possible.
Voting is currently taking place at all 204 polling centers in Ejisu to choose a successor for the late MP and Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah, who passed away on March 7, 2024. There are six candidates competing in the by-election, including three independent candidates, and a total of 106,812 voters are expected to participate.
It is worth mentioning that Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, a former three-time NPP Member of Parliament for the constituency, is running as an Independent Candidate in this by-election. Despite facing allegations of betrayal, Aduomi remains hopeful about his chances of winning the election and representing Ejisu once again.
