One of the key highlights of his visit was his interaction with the Clergy, he encouraged the Clergy to utilize their pulpit to pray where he emphasized the importance of their role in shaping society.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized the enduring presence of Ghana, stating the significance of safeguarding the nation’s future and urging against jeopardizing it for personal political ambitions or the interests of any specific political party.
As politicians, our time in office may be temporary, but Ghana will remain steadfast.
I believe in unity, tolerance and harmony, which remain the only thing that could move the country forward and not things that divide us.
Dr. Bawumia expressed his desire to establish a prosperous era of collaboration between the church and faith-based organizations as the President of this nation. He acknowledged the remarkable contributions made by religious groups in the fields of education, healthcare, and social welfare, emphasizing their immense significance for the country.
One of the things I want to do as a President of this country is to introduce a golden age of a relationship between church and faith-based organizations and I believe religious groupings have done so much for the country in the areas of education, health and care for society which are extremely phenomena.
