Vice President and Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had a fruitful discussion with a cross-section of market traders and importers.
In a post on his Facebook page, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the engagement was a successful one as measures have been put in place to address their concerns. He mentioned that his unique policies are tailored towards addressing their concerns and will adequately improve their businesses moving forward.
He outlined several policies which he believes will aid in improving their business and further tackle the challenges they are facing, by explaining how the various policies can influence their businesses positively.
Yesterday, I met with a cross-section of market traders and importers in Accra to discuss issues affecting their businesses and the way forward.
It was a very fruitful meeting and I took the opportunity to explain the new policies that I have proposed to improve the business environment in Ghana.
My proposals were received with so much excitement by the traders and I am encouraged by their support.
