I WILL NOT PERMIT LGBTQ ACTIVITIES IN GHANA, REGARDLESS OF THE REPERCUSSIONS – DR. BAWUMIA

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made it clear that if he is elected President, he will not tolerate any LGBTQ activities in the country, regardless of any potential consequences.

According to Dr. Bawumia, these activities go against the core values of the nation and therefore cannot be accepted. He emphasized that both the Bible and the Quran, as well as the Ghanaian population, do not support such practices.

During a meeting with religious leaders in Tamale on Thursday, the Vice President firmly stated,

I want to reiterate that we will not permit LGBTQ in Ghana. It will not be allowed. Our religious scriptures and our people are in agreement that it is not acceptable. So the answer is a resounding no.

No man will be marrying a man, no woman will be marrying a woman. It is not our value. And I will stand firm no matter the consequences.

We will stand firm on that matter no matter the consequences. We will safeguard our country and we will safeguard our people.
