ONTARIO PROVINCE RECOGNIZES DR. BAWUMIA FOR IMPACTFUL LEADERSHIP

Ontario Province in Canada has honored Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for his outstanding leadership.

The Member of the Provincial Parliament, David Smith, represented the Province and the Canadian Religious and Cultural Council (CRCC) during the award ceremony held on Sunday, May 26, in Ontario. He commended Dr. Bawumia’s remarkable leadership, highlighting initiatives like using drones for delivering essential medical supplies to remote areas in Ghana.

At the event hosted by CRCC at the Miracle Arena for All Nations in Ontario, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of tolerance and respect for diversity in fostering peace within communities and nations. He shared Ghana’s unique approach to religious tolerance and diversity, which forms the foundation of the country’s renowned peace.

During his speech, Dr. Bawumia also discussed various positive impacts of government interventions in Ghana. The audience responded enthusiastically to his description of Ghana’s innovative use of drones for delivering critical medical supplies to remote areas.

David Smith, representing Ontario Province, expressed admiration for Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and presented him with a plaque as a token of recognition. He specifically praised Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to leveraging technology to address challenges in Ghana, citing the drone medical delivery service as an example of remarkable innovation.

In his remarks, Smith applauded the government’s use of information systems to connect with citizens, especially through the drone medical delivery service, which he described as a significant achievement.
