Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, was warmly received by the people of Okaishie, Accra, as he made his way through the bustling streets.
The chants of his name and his campaign slogan “It Is Possible” filled the air. Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region entered its second day, following a busy schedule on the first day where he engaged with various groups including the Clergy, Imams, Zongo Chiefs, and community members.
Continuing his energetic tour, Dr. Bawumia met with the Clergy in Tema, followed by Imams and Zongo Chiefs in Ashaiman on day 2. After interacting with the public in Ashaiman, the Bawumia bus proceeded to Accra, where he engaged with traders and market women at Odawna, CMB, Okaishie, UTC area, and Tudu.
The traders and Kayayei (head potters) cheered for Dr. Bawumia, chanting his name and praising his policies. They also expressed their gratitude for the construction of a multi-purpose hostel and training center in Madina and Ashaiman.
