Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has advised Vice President Dr Mahamud Bawumia to openly acknowledge and address any potential shortcomings as he embarks on his political engagements leading up to the December 7 polls.
During their cordial discussions on matters of national importance, Otumfuo commended the Vice President’s efforts in addressing the pressing concerns that impact millions of Ghanaians daily.

He urged Dr Bawumia to build trust by embracing vulnerability, as it has the power to strengthen the bond with citizens. The Asantehene also emphasized that leadership is not just about avoiding errors, but also about acknowledging them and taking swift corrective measures.
According to him, Ghanaians are willing to respond positively if the Vice President and his NPP government admit their shortcomings and offer practical solutions.
Additionally, the Asantehene advised the Vice President to remain humble in the performance of his duties and throughout his political campaign.
