The victory of Hasaacas Ladies in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League has been acknowledged by the Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Dr Mahamadu Bwawumia.
By defeating Ampem Darkoa Ladies 2-1 in the final, Hasaacas Ladies emerged as the champions of Ghana’s top flight for the fifth time on June 8, concluding the 2023/24 season.
This achievement marks their return to the title after their previous triumph in the 202/21 season. Dr. Bawumia has expressed his congratulations to the club based in Sekondi for their remarkable success.

Congratulations to the management, technical team, playing body, and fans on your impressive achievement of winning your 5th league title and qualifying to represent Ghana at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, WAFU Zone.
The Hasmal Ladies’ victory in the league ensures their representation of Ghana at the WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, scheduled to take place in Abidjan in August.
Dr. Bawumia expresses optimism that Hasaacas will emerge as champions in the tournament and subsequently raise the Ghanaian flag high in the main CAF Women’s Champions League competition.
