MY GOAL IS TO ASSIST THE NPP IN ACHIEVING THE ‘BREAK THE 8′ OBJECTIVE’ – NPP OFORIKROM CONSTITUENCY PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE

Michael Kwasi Aidoo, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Oforikrom Constituency, aims to assist the party in achieving the ‘break the 8’ goal and boosting votes in the region.

The Parliamentary candidate is diligently striving to raise the vote share to 80% in the upcoming election.

In the 2020 general elections, the NPP received 60,156 votes, accounting for 70.4%, while the NDC garnered 24,747 votes, amounting to 29.0%.

Speaking on Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma87.9FM in Kumasi with Sir John, Michael Kwasi Aidoo said,

The target is to ensure total victory for the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who has been tipped by NPP members to win this year’s presidential election.

Buoyed by his performance in the NPP Oforikrom Constituency primary, he is optimistic of the party’s victory. After a stiff contest with four contenders, he won the parliamentary primary with 666 votes.

His top contender, Claudia Kwarteng Lumor obtained 351 votes.

The NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom Constituency stated that the party’s leadership is tirelessly striving to achieve an 80 percent target of valid votes in the upcoming election.

He emphasized that the party’s track record, combined with developmental initiatives carried out by himself as the parliamentary candidate and by the NPP government, will will secure the necessary votes for the NPP’s victory
