MAHAMA STRONGLY OPPOSES THE FREE SHS POLICY AND HAS VOWED TO ABOLISH IT IF ELECTED – NANA B WARNS GHANAIANS

NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye has advised Ghanaians to be skeptical of President John Dramani Mahama’s assurance not to abolish the Free Senior High School policy by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

The Free SHS, which has been in place since the current government took office, has provided Senior High School students with free education and alleviated the burden of parents and guardians by taking care of their children’s educational needs.

There have been discussions about enshrining the policy into law, with rumors circulating that a Free SHS bill will be introduced in Parliament.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show about the Free SHS and related issues, Nana Boakye,  firmly stated that former President Mahama is not in favor of Free SHS and it is clear that they will abolish it when they come into power.

Former President Mahama doesn’t like Free SHS and clearly when they come, they will cancel it.

Their (NDC) behavior and actions show they are against Free SHS

If you have observed them, anytime they have the opportunity, they have never highlighted the positives. Everyday is the negatives.

Nana B emphasized that in relation to the Free SHS bill, the NDC MPs appear quite anxious when you hear them speak.

When you listen to the NDC MPs, you will see they are very jittery.

We plead with you, Ghanaians, to know that Mr. John Dramani Mahama will cancel the Free SHS if he comes back. He does not believe in it. His actions, utterances and behavior are a proof of his hatred for the policy…

Ghanaians must know clearly the character of John Dramani Mahama; he’s been President before and he was against Free SHS. He never liked it. He said he won’t put his money into it.Vote against him. We want someone who will protect it; a party that is prepared to safeguard the Free SHS legacy.
