YA NA COMMENDS DR. BAWUMIA FOR RUNNING A CLEAN CAMPAIGN

The King of Dagbon, Ndan Ya Na Abukari II, commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for running a respectful campaign leading up to the December 2024 general election.

Ya Na stated that Dr. Bawumia heeded his advice during their initial meeting, emphasizing that the Vice President has focused on addressing important issues and showcasing his administration’s accomplishments without engaging in derogatory remarks.

I wish to commend you for adhering to my advice not to use offensive words in your campaign. Issues-based campaigns devoid of insults are what Ghanaians need. I entreat you to direct all your campaign members and supporters to follow your good conduct.

Dr. Bawumia’s visit to Ya Na at the Gbewaa Palace shed light on various issues, including the positive impact of the NPP government’s development projects in Dagbon.

The Ya Na also requested the NPP flagbearer’s support in completing the Yendi Sports Stadium project to enhance sports infrastructure in the eastern corridor of the kingdom.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the standard-bearer of the ruling NPP, emphasized his role as an agent of change while serving as Vice President despite his restricted authority.

He expressed his commitment to furthering his impact as President if entrusted with the leadership of the country. Dr. Bawumia highlighted the implementation of 33 policies that have positively impacted Ghana, encouraging voters to support him in the upcoming December 7 election.

John Mahama will only have four years if he becomes president, but when you vote for me, I will have eight years, and I am positive that the eight years will be more beneficial to Ghanaians than four years.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the NPP administration completed the Tamale-Yendi-Tatale road, the longest road in Ghana spanning 167 kilometers.

He also pledged to fulfill his commitments to the citizens once he assumed the presidency, highlighting the importance of harnessing the potential of the youth alongside well-planned policies and initiatives to propel Ghana forward.
