Evans Nimako, the director of elections for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has confidently stated that the party is fully prepared to secure a win at any given time.
The upcoming 2024 general election, just a mere five months from now, is anticipated to be a direct competition between John Mahama of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the NPP’s Bawumia.
The party is very much prepared to the extent that even if elections are to be conducted today, we will go in and sponsor our candidates, presidential and parliamentary and we will come out victorious.
We are aware of the dynamics of the electoral landscape, so we have taken our time to put in place the infrastructure that will give us the advantage, and we are working strategically towards that.
I can assure you that when all is said and done the Electoral Commission (EC) will announce the NPP’s presidential candidate as the next president. I am saying this because if we take the register and you do a critical assessment of the voters, the NPP has a commanding lead over the other parties.
