Farouk Aliu Mahama, Chairman of the Government Assurances Committee of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Yendi, has extolled the Akufo-Addo government for the significant improvements in the road network within the Yendi constituency. He highlighted the transformative efforts of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, attributing much of the progress to their visionary leadership and commitment to infrastructure development.
During a committee meeting on Tuesday, July 16, where Roads Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye presented updates, Mr. Mahama expressed his satisfaction with the advancements made. He acknowledged the government’s steadfast commitment to enhancing road infrastructure, which has had a positive impact on local communities and economic activities.
“The road network in Yendi has seen remarkable improvements under the Akufo-Addo administration. This transformation is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the NPP government,”
Mr. Mahama stated.
He emphasized the importance of extending such infrastructure improvements to other regions, ensuring that all areas benefit equitably from national development projects. Mr. Mahama highlighted that robust road infrastructure is crucial for the country’s overall growth and development.
“Strong and well-maintained roads are vital for national development. The government’s achievements in this sector are commendable, and continued investment in road construction will further boost our national growth and connectivity,”
he added.
