Farouk Aliu Mahama, the Member of Parliament for Yendi, has stated that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the NPP, will demonstrate that his critics are mistaken.
Aliu Mahama is confident that Dr Opoku Prempeh’s appointment will dispel any doubts from his detractors. He is certain that the choice of Dr Opoku Prempeh will significantly contribute to the NPP’s electoral success in the Ashanti Region.
He speaks his mind, just like me. He doesn’t know how to pretend, Napo speaks his mind and he is a confident person. So he has been misconstrued to be arrogant.
Somebody who has been trained by royals can never have any sign or blood of arrogance in his system because his father was a humble man. In politics, it is not all that everybody says about you, is right. But I believe it rather helps to shape him.
If somebody says you are arrogant and you are not, you prove them wrong. He is always showing he is a humble person when he visits the chiefs even though he is a royal. He will prove his critics wrong.
